Triad is a solid long-keel cruising yacht from Trident Marine. The long keel makes her an excellent sea boat. The hull fixtures and fittings are sound and in good condition. The boat is well maintained and updated as required. Triad has a permanent berth at Marmaris Yacht Marina (YM), Mugla Province, Turkey. YM has excellent technical facilities, restaurant, swimming pool, supermarket, chandlery, laundry and medical facilities. YM has extensive, well-protected winter storage on the hard in cradles and has a regular Dolmus service into Marmaris which takes around twenty minutes. Sailing in Turkey has much to offer – an unspoiled coast, quiet bays and anchorages with occasional restaurants and easy access to numerous Greek islands in the Dodecanese. There are many sites of ancient civilisations, an excellent cuisine, friendly people and frequent flights to Dalaman Airport from the UK.

The aim of the partnership is to keep costs reasonable while maintaining the boat in good seaworthy condition. All costs of mooring and maintenance/upgrades are shared. A 20% share of the annual costs averaged £1400 over the past three years. A share entitles the owner to a five-week sailing block each year. The sailing season runs from April to October and the five-week blocks cycle through successive years. Owners take turns in lift-out and launching for the winter season. We have an annual contract with YM with six months on the hard and six months in the water. Triad is UK VAT unpaid and can stay in Turkey for periods of up to five years before needing to exit and return.
